Our Involvments

Cadillac Urban Gardens is a pending 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been serving low-income families in Southwest Detroit access to free and fresh produce since 2012.
Urban Neighborhood Initiatives (UNI) is deeply committed to improving the community by focusing on three critical areas of work: Youth Development, Education, and Land Use & Economic Development. Urban Neighborhood Initiatives works with communities in urban neighborhoods to build safe and thriving environments where people want to live, work, and play.
As the importance of the Mexican presence in the area increased, in 1920, the Mexican Consulate General located in Detroit was inaugurated. In 1940, it became part of the jurisdiction of the Consulate General of Mexico in Chicago.
The Motor City Alliance is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded by the Kinematic Wolves 5577, Frog Force 503, and TechnoPheonix 14010 in 2017. The Motor City Alliance's purpose is to unite FIRST  Robotics teams in Detroit and become more competitive together. 
Accelerate4KIDS® is a 501(c)(3) that aims to create tomorrow creators by providing quality computer science and STEM education to every child so they too can live a life of opportunity and prosperity.
Detroit Southwest Pride is a Grass Roots Resident Driven Organization. Located out of Southwest Detroit.
The ultimate varsity sport where teams of high school students and their industry mentors design and build large scale robots to battle in fierce 3 vs. 3 competitions.
Detroit Cristo Rey High School provides excellent college-preparatory Catholic high school education, in the Cristo Rey Model, to students from economically disadvantaged families in Detroit. The school emphasizes faith, morals and service to the community.
Through its work study program, the school fosters skills and attitudes important in the workplace, such as responsibility, determination, and respect for self and others.
DHDC is rooted in the vibrant culture of the Latino community in Detroit with the mission to make a difference by creating life-changing opportunities and serves over 5,000 youth and adults annually.
